I’m Shannon Ainslie, a professional surf coach, surfer and speaker based in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. After 27+ years of surfing and more than two decades coaching surfers around the world, the ocean has shaped both my career and my life.

 

At 15, I survived a double great white shark attack while surfing in South Africa. I returned to the ocean, continued surfing and went on to build a career coaching surfers, working internationally and sharing my story through speaking, media and YouTube.

 

Today, through FixMyWave, I coach surfers in Jeffreys Bay and provide online surf video analysis to surfers worldwide.
